Maruti launches Baleno, XL6 in CNG version, check price, mileage and specs
After winning the hearts of many car enthusiasts with the feature-loaded Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the firm finally converts its one of the hot selling produce Baleno along with XL6 in CNG version. The firm launched both vehicles on October 31. The vehicle is now available to purchase. Interested customers can go to authorized dealers in order to book the cars.
The car manufacturer has launched the XL6’s CNG Zeta variant at the starting price of Rs 12.24 lakh (ex-showroom), which means customers have to spend a sum of Rs 96,000 on the model. Talking about the Baleno, the company has converted its Delta MT and Zeta MT model which starts from Rs 8.28 lakh and Rs 9.21 lakh respectively.

Both vehicles come with the company’s S-CNG which includes two Electronic Control Units (ECUs) that work as an intelligent injection system that ensures an air-fuel ratio improves efficiency and performance. According to the company, the S-CNG system includes stainless steel joints and pipes to prevent corrosion and leaks across the whole structure.
The company claims that the Maruti Baleno CNG can offer a range of 30.61 km/kg. Taking about features and safety, the hatchback comes with six airbags, a seat belt reminder, a rear parking sensor, and a collision warning among others. It also has a 7-inch Smart Play pro touchscreen infotainment system with voice assistance, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Suzuki Connect with 40+ connected features, MID display with CNG specific screens, LED projector headlamps & 60:40 rear split seats.
XL6 CNG
Company said that the1.5-liter Dualjet petrol engine with a factory-installed CNG kit as the Ertiga can offer a fuel efficiency of 26.32 km/kg. The vehicle generates 87.83PS of power when running on CNG, which means i13 PS and 15 Nm less power than the standard gasoline model.
