From specs to features, know everything about 5-door Jimny
As the vehicle is already available in 3-doors in India, the company decided to introduce Jimny in 5-doors and give Indian customers another reason to purchase the vehicle. The updated version of Jimny will likely come with a new set of features, better build quality and advanced infotainment system. The car will remain in a position where it will provide a better driving experience to urban customers.
To attract more and more customers, Jimny might come with higher ground clearance as compared to its current version. It will also get the off-road capabilities that might give those customers a solid reason to go for it, rather than choosing Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha. However, reports say that a 5-door SUV may not get any longer than 4-meters which might overall affect its sale.
Talking about the engine, the SUV is likely to feature the latest mild-hybrid set-up along with the newer K15C unit, which will provide decent mileage to the customers. As far as the transmission is concerned, it will come with a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic gearboxes.
Now you must be thinking about at what price segment the company will launch the vehicle. According to some reports, the firm expected to place the feature-loaded SUV near the lower trims of the new Grand Vitara SUV.
