Viral: Angry monkey snatches DM's sunglasses in Vrindavan, police offer bananas, frooti, get it back
Snatching things from people by the Monkeys in exchange for food is quite common these days in India. Recently, a similar has been reported from Mathura’s Vrindavan where an angry monkey snatched the DM’s sunglasses.
The whole chaotic scene was recorded on camera on Sunday when DM Mathura Navneet Singh Chahal with Vrindavan’s SSP visited one of the famous Banke Bihari temples in order to probe the stampede incident that happened on Janmashtami. While probing with people in the area, a monkey came from nowhere and snatched Chahal’s glasses and climbed at the top of stairs.

Seeing the bizarre scenario, many bystanders assembled at the spot and started giving every kind of greed to the monkey in order to take back the DM’s glasses.

The scene went on for a long time. After many locals and cops pleaded with the monkey for hours, the animal decided to return it back.
When the video went viral on the internet, it gained thousands of views and likes in no time. Many social media users shared a similar incident in the comment section and wrote that how the monkey menace in Vrindavan becomes one of the big problems for tourists.
One of the users wrote that there is always someone of doesn’t bother or is afraid of any cop, DM, or anything and that is monkeys in India, They have no biasness, they treat everyone equally, the user added. Another user also share the viral video with the caption that reads If people had not seen someone more powerful than the District Magistrate of a District in India. Monkey snatches glasses from DM Navneet Chahal in Vrindavan, Mathura. After some pleading, the monkeys returned the glasses, the user added in his caption.
