As the Indian government pushes smartphone users to use 5G technology and puts all the possible efforts to provide good service, leading smartphone maker Motorola announced it has released an update for some of its eligible products, under which it will allow the handsets to enable Jio’s 5G service. Customers who is having the company’s Edge 30 Fusion, Edge 30, Ultra, Moto G82 5G, and Moto G62 5G, they all now can enable the 5G service in their handsets.
The firm said the latest update combines a variety of technologies, including 3 Carrier Aggregation and 44 MIMO, to ensure the seamless delivery of a safe and friendly 5G network experience to the customers. Apart from the 5G connectivity, the latest update also brings cutting-edge hardware and software features, under which the users will be able to witness a lag-free experience while using heavy applications.
Reacting about the same, Motorola’s executive director, Prashanth Mani said that Motorola smartphones give an exceptionally reliable, optimised, and fast 5G experience across price points, staying true to their commitment of giving true 5G – the most complete, no-compromise 5G smartphone portfolio to Indian consumers with support for up to 13 5G bands across price points. He said, with the latest, update, their customers surely gonna experience some fast internet speed, using a 5G connection.
Reliance Jio President Sunil Dutt said that the real power of a 5G smartphone can only be unleashed by a True 5G network like Jio, which consider the most reliable network in the country.
Meanwhile, the 5G network from Jio is currently available in major cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Chennai. However, the carrier revealed that it has taken pledged to offer 5G to every town in India, no matter how small it is by end of this year. The firm set to provide a network than 60 towns, districts, and regions in the country.
