As the weather temperature is rising across the country, a heartbreaking image from Madhya Pradesh is now viral on Internet.

A woman was seen using plastic bags to shield her children feet from burning on the hot roads as she had no money to afford a pair of footwear.

The incident is of Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur town.

The mother while in search for work in the scorching heat was roaming around the town with her children feet wrapped around with plastic bags.

In the viral image, a woman can be seen carrying a child on her arms and two of her children (one girl and one boy) wearing polythene bags as their shoes.

As per reports, the woman is a tribal woman identified as Rukmini.

The visuals came into limelight after a local journalist Insaf Quraishi spotted Rukmini and stopped to click a picture.

Quarishi not only photographed Rukmini but got carried away with her condition and helped her by giving some money to purchase footwear.

Rukmini shared with Quraishi that she belongs to the Sahariya tribal community and explained how her family is going through a financial burden. Rukmini said her husband has got affected with tuberculosis and they have no money for his treatment.

She is the only breadwinner of the family currently and looking at the family condition, she is now resorted to look out for doing some labour in order to earn some money.

She also said as there is no else to look after her children with her husband himself a patient, she brought them along in her hunt for work.  

After Rukmini’s plight came into the notice of local administration, it jumped in to provide assistance to her assuring all possible means of help.

District Collector Shivam Verma told media after the matter came to their notice, the Supervisor of Women and Child Development team along with an Anganwadi worker were sent to collect information from Rukmini’s family and were directed to help her get all the benefits of the government schemes.
