Recently, during an event when Naga Chaitanya was asked about his OTT debut, the actor was quick to say that actors always crave for their work t get maximum exposure and OTT platforms serve it well. Hence the OTT debut will soon happen with Amazon Prime Video’s first Telugu series, titled Dhootha.
Dhootha is a horror series and when asked about the same, Chaitanya said that he’s not that person, who can sit still during a horror film. So when director Vikram told him about his supernatural horror thriller, the Majili actor was a bit suspicious but the brilliance of the script forced him to take up the role.
Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya was last seen in Bangarraju. He also has signed another film in collaboration with director Venkat Prabhu for his 22nd film. The actor is also geared up to make his debut in Bollywood with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer Laal Singh Chaddha.
Naga Chaitanya had recently parted ways with his wife, also Telugu actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who made her OTT debut with the blockbuster series Family Man 2. Both the actors met on the sets of their first film together, ‘Ye Mava Chesava’ in 2010. They first became friends and after 6 years of relationship, they decided to get married in 2017. However, the marriage did not last long and just before their fourth anniversary the couple announced their divorce on social media.
