New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga bookings open, to be launched in India on this date

One of the largest car manufacturers in India Maruti Suzuki has on Thursday has started accepting the bookings of its latest Ertiga. Interested customers can book the MPV by giving a booking of Rs 11,000. The company said it will launch the SUV with a new engine and transmission, as well as an additional variant in the CNG line-up on 15 April 2022.

Talking about the changes, the all-new Ertiga comes with the 1.5-litre, DualJet Dual VVT engine with smart hybrid technology. This motor will be offered with not only a five-speed manual transmission but also a new six-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

In terms of the latest features, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will have a new front grille, a seven-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, which will support android, apple, and auto car play. As per the official reports, the company will launch CNG version, which is currently offered only in the VXi variant and will soon be available in the ZXi variant.

Talking about the car, Shashank Srivastava who is a Senior Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) of Maruti Suzuki India told the media that with over 7.50 lakh loyal customers, their upcoming MPV will be the game-changer in the upcoming months. He said, the company is pleased to announce that next-gen Ertiga that will launch with a new style, technology, space, design, safety, build quality, comfort, and convenience for all traveling enthusiasts. We are confident that the next-gen Ertiga will further delight customers, offering them a more fuel-efficient, powerful, technologically advanced, and stylish companion for long journeys together with their loved ones, Srivastava added.
