The Alchemist writer Paulo Coelho heaps praises on Shah Rukh Khan, recommends My Name Is Khan to the West
The best selling author Paulo Coelho has given a shoutout to Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. SRK has shared a video of fans gathered outside his house Mannat in Mumbai and seems like that love and affection also pulled Coelho’s attention. The writer had the most heart warming reaction on the video.
The Brazilian novelist took to his Twitter and wrote that Shah Rukh Khan is a king, a Legend, a Friend, but above all he’s a great actor. He further wrote that for those who don’t know SRK in the West, should watch Khan’s 2010 film, My name is Khan.

However, this is not for the first time that Coelho has heaped prasied or Shah Rukh or his film My Name Is Khan. Back in 2017, when the SRK-Kajol starrer had completed 7 years, the writer had once again congratulated the team on 7th anniversary of a wonderful film. The Alchemist writer also shared a photo quoting his own statement which read that Paulo Coelho has only watch one Bollywood film, which is My Name Is Khan.
He further wrote that, it is not only a excellent film but Shah Rukh Khan also deserved an Oscar for Karan Johar directorial only if Hollywood was not manipulated. Shah Rukh had also responded to the tweet. After thanking Coelho, King Khan had written that his next journey is to try and meet the writer in person.
On the current status, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan’s roar on the box office does not seem to stop. The film made with a huge budget of Rs 250 crore has earned more than Rs 300 crore in India only. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, and apart from Shahrukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone are in lead roles. It has been 8 days since the film was released and it has destroyed many records. The film has collected a total of Rs 667 crore at the worldwide box office within eight days.
