People are born under the lucky star if they pass away while doing what they love. Over the years, several celebrities died while performing on stage in front of their fans. Recently, singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, fondly known as KK, left for the heavenly abode after his concert in Kolkata.

KK

For every 90s kid and people born in the early 2000, KK is irreplaceable. The singer lent his voice to songs of every genre. Born Krishnakumar Kunnath, he passed away on May 31 after his concert in Kolkata due to a cardiac arrest. He was 53 and survived with his wife and a son. The Indian Music Industry is still in shock and undeniably KK has left a void in the industry that can never be filled.

Edwa Bashir

Veteran Malayalam singer Edwa Bashir passed away on May 30 in Kerala. Bashir fainted on stage while performing at the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Blue Diamond Orchestra Troupe in Alappuzha. He was rushed to a private hospital in Cherthala, but could not survive.

Edward Lee Morgan

Popularly known as Lee Morgan, the American jazz trumpet player and composer was shot dead while he was performing on stage. He was killed by his wife Helen Morgan over a confrontation at Slug’s Saloon in New York City. He was 33.

Nelson Eddy

The American singer and actor suffered a stroke while performing at the Sans Souci Hotel in March 1967. Reports say he was in the middle of a song when he said his face started to get numb. He was rushed to a hospital and was declared dead.

Kuo Chin-Fa

The popular Taiwan singer, Kua Chin-Fa, was one of the most prominent faces during the 1960s. He died at the age of 72 while performing in Kaohsiung. Chin-Fa was best known for his track Hot Rice Dumpling.
