Petrol, diesel price surges again: Rate increases by 80 paise, to cost Rs 102.61 per litre in Delhi, check rates in your city here

The price of petrol, and diesel has been increased yet again. This time, the price is up by 80 paise per litre and this has taken the total increase in rates in the last 12 days to Rs 7.20 per litre.

In Delhi, petrol is going to cost Rs 102.61 per litre. Earlier, it was Rs 101.81 per litre/ The diesel rates are also up and it will cost Rs 93.07 per litre. On Friday, it was Rs 93.87 per litre.

The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased across the country and the rates vary from state to state depending upon the local taxation.

Notably, this is the 10th increase in prices since the ending of the four-month-long hiatus that started in November but it ended on March 22, and since then, the price of fuel rates has been surging with each passing day.

The petrol price in Maharashtra’s Parbhani has crossed the mark of over Rs 120.54 litre in the district. The diesel rate in Aurangabad has crossed the mark of Rs 103.41 per litre. In Thane and Navi Mumbai, the petrol price has been increased to Rs 117.70 and the diesel rates have surged to Rs 101.93.

In Chennai, the price of petrol per litre on Saturday was recorded at Rs 108.21 and the diesel price stood at 108.21 as well.
In West Bengal’s Kolkata, the petrol price on Saturday is Rs 112.19 per litre but the price of diesel per litre stood at Rs 97.02.
