Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday addressed the Constitution Day celebration at the Supreme Court. PM Modi in his address described the Constitution of India to be the biggest force in India. Prime Minister in his address also paid tribute to the security forces who suffered during the 26/11 Mumbai attack.

In his address, PM Modi stated that the Constitution of India was India’s biggest force and highlighted that the sentence We the people in the Preamble, which is on the first page of the constitution weren’t just mere three words, but a belief, a pledge, and a faith.

He also suggested that such sentiment in the constitution begot the core ideals of the Indian system that flourished democracy of the country. The Prime Minister also credited the Legislature, the Judiciary, and the Executive for strengthening the constitution.

PM Modi also termed India to be the Mother of Democracy and added that India is strengthening its Constitutional beliefs. He also paid tribute to the victims of the Mumbai Terror attack and marked its 14th anniversary.

He further added and described the Constitution of India to be open and futuristic while also adding the progressive ideals of the Constitution. He also claimed that the spirit of the Constitution is youth-centric and urged the Youth to learn more about the constitution as the development of the country lies on their shoulders.

In his bid to urge youth to learn better about the constitution, PM Modi further added that the youth must be taught about the Constituent Assembly and also the sacrifices made by people associated in that

Launch of e-court by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

PM Modi at the Constitution Day program at Supreme Court also launched a new initiative that falls under the e-court project that will include Virtual Justice Clock, Justis mobile app 2.0, Digital Court, and S3Waas Websites. These initiatives are steps taken by the government to transition the court into paperless ecosystem by making everything digital.
