Rumours about a rift between Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are doing rounds in media. As per few reports, Prabhas got annoyed with her co-star’s unprofessional behaviour. The reports stated that Pooja arrived late for the shoot and made everyone wait.
Radhe Shyam producer opens up about the rift between Prabhas and Pooja:
Rubbishing the rumours of the rift between the stars, the makers of Radhe Shyam has released a statement regarding the same.
The statement released by the UV creations read, ‘These reports are completely baseless. Prabhas and Pooja Hedge have great respect and admiration for each other. In fact, they share a great camaraderie off-screen and that has translated into some magical onscreen chemistry. Pooja has always been very punctual for her shoots. She is very easy to work with. These rumours are merely a figment of someone’s imagination. All is well between the leading pair and the entire team is very excited to bring audiences a theatrical experience they won’t forget.’
Radhe Shyam will be a romantic drama being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. This film is the first collaboration between the Baahubali actor Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. It was scheduled to hit the silver screens in July this year, however, got delayed to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, the film is slated to release on January 14, 2022, and will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Apart from Pooja and Prabhas, the film also features Priyadarshi, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Bhagyashree, Sathyan, and Kunaal Roy Kapur in titular roles.
On the work front, Prabhas will be next seen in Nag Ashwin’s multilingual sci-fi film opposite Deepika Padukone, Om Raut’s Adipurush opposite Kirti Sanon, and Salaar. On the other hand, Pooja Hegde will star in the drama film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali opposite Salman Khan, Koratala Siva’s Acharya, and Cirkus co-starring Ranveer Singh.
In other news, Zee entertainment has merged with Sony India. Reportedly, Sony Pictures will invest $1.57 billion and will have a 52.93 percent controlling stake. ZEEL will have a 47.07 percent stake.
