Week 10 of the English Premier League saw conclusive results as many teams breezed past their opponents in style. The week 10 fixture saw, Newcastle clash with Brentford, Bournemouth going head to head with Leicester City, Pep’s Manchester City vs Southampton, Chelsea lock horns with Wolves, and Brighton clash with Tottenham on Saturday.
And on Sunday, the fixture got more intense as West Ham fought it out with Fulham, Crystal Palace vs Leeds United, League leaders Arsenal vs struggling Liverpool, and Manchester United lock horns with Frank Lampard’s Everton.
The Magpies breezed past Brentford as Newcastle fans returned home with smiling faces as Jamaal Lascelles and company tallied up 5 goals against Brentford whereas the latter were only able to come up with 1 consolation goal at the home of Newcastle as the match concluded in a 5-1 win for Newcastle.
Bournemouth went head to head with Leicester City as Leicester drew first blood and started on a good note, however, the foxes couldn’t contain the comeback trend of Bournemouth as came back with a different mentality in the second half and scored two and ended up in 2-1 win for Bournemouth.

Manchester City’s fixture with Southampton was a walk in the park for Haaland and company as they were able to dominate the game from the get-go. City scored 2 goals in the first half and to put the cherry on top, the game concluded with 2 more goals. Cancelo, Foden, Mahrez, and Haaland found themselves inon the scoresheet.
Chelsea with their new manager, Graham Potter, were able to begin their winning stride as the game took a turn around for Chelsea towards the end of the first half with Havertz drawing first blood. The goal spell continued in the second half as Pulisic and Broja found themselves on the scoresheet at Chelsea’s home. The game concluded with a 3-0 win.
Brighton disappointed their fans at home as the game concluded in a 1-0 win for Tottenham as Captain Harry Kane came to the rescue. Steven Gerrard’s West Ham was able to find some consistency in their inconsistent form at home turf as the match resulted in a 3-1 victory over Fulham.
Crystal Palace and leads was a competitive fixture that saw Crystal Palace come out as victors against Leeds United. In the much-anticipated fixture in the battle of the giants between Arsenal and Liverpool, Arsenal kept asking questions from the get-go, Liverpool, However, did their level best to keep answering back but Arsenal’s penalty gutted Liverpool in the later stage of the game, resulting in 3-2 victory for Arsenal against Liverpool.
Everton vs Manchester United was a riveting fixture as United made a comeback from last week’s upsetting derby. The staple of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo finally finding his 1st goal of the Premier League season as well as marking the 700 club goals milestone.
