The fourth week of the Premier League had the fans in analysis mode as the game week 4 saw a change in performance trends of many teams. Premier League week 4 saw Southhampton vs Manchester United, Chelsea vs Leicester City, Brighton vs Leeds United, Manchester City vs Crystal Palace, Liverpool vs Bournemouth, Brentford vs Everton, Arsenal vs Fulham, Wolves vs Newcastle United, Aston Villa vs West Ham, Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham.

The fourth week of the premier league was filled with anticipation as many teams started to pull up their form, contrary to their previous games. Week four was kicked off with Erik Ten Hag’s struggling Manchester United finally finding their form as they dominated Southhampton in a 1-0 win for the Red Devils at the St. Mary’s Stadium. Whereas, Chelsea, despite playing a man short, conjured up a win at home with the help of Raheem Sterling as the blues clenched the win against Leicester City 2-1.

Brighton clenched a win against Leeds United as Pascal Grob stepped up to challenge and scored in the 66th minute of the game. However, Thomas Frank’s Brentford ended up in a 1-1 tie against Everton as both the teams failed to find an edge to give it a conclusive ending. Pep’s Manchester City came to life in the second half against Crystal Palace after conceding 2 in the first half, however, City redeemed themselves in the second half as Bernardo Silva’s spark was followed up by Erling Haaland as he went on to score a hattrick, leading the home team to win 4-2 against Crystal Palace.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool played a redemption game at home as they tore apart Bournemouth with an overwhelming scoreline of 9-0 win. Liverpool opened their tally in the 3rd minute and didn’t stop daunting Scott Parker’s defense till the 85th minute.

Arsenal’s undefeated run inspired the Gunners to get another win in the bag as they made a comeback against Fulham 2-1 with the help of Martin Odegaard’s equalizer in the 64th minute and Gabriel Magalhaes’s late winning goal; Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic drew first blood but couldn’t keep the team from facing loss. Newcastle trailed its way to a tie against Wolves as Allen Saint-Maximin came through with a dramatic 90th-minute equalizer. Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa failed to answer back against West Ham’s goal scored in the 74th minute leading Villa to another loss at home.

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham was led to victory by captain Harry Kane as he found himself on the scoresheet twice, leading to a 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forrest at City Ground.

Weekday 5 of the Premier League will witness the action between Crystal Palace vs Brentford, Fulham vs Brighton, Southhampton vs Chelsea, Leads United vs Everton, Bournemouth vs Wolves, Manchester City vs Nottingham Forrest, Arsenal vs Aston Villa, West Ham vs Tottenham, Liverpool vs Newcastle, Leicester City vs Manchester United, next week.
