Premier League Week 8: Haaland, Coutinho, Jesus and Son in action in Matchday 8 of the Premier League
The Premier league is back after suspending the matches last week due the demise of Queen Elizabeth II as a sign of respect. The schedule for the postponed matches is yet to be decided, however, in week 8 of the Premier League, the fans will witness the Pep’s Manchester City play against Wolves, Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa lock horns with Southampton, Nottingham Forest battle Fulham, Jamaal Lascelles and company’s Newcastle battle it out with Bournemouth, Brentford against league leaders Arsenal, David Moyes’s West Ham go head to head with Everton.
Aston Villa were able to pull away against the away team, South Hampton with the help of Jacob Ramsey on Saturday, Coutinho kept Southampton’s defense on their toes throughout the game as the game ended in a 1-0 win.
In the fixture against Nottingham Forest, Fulham was able to come out as a winner after conceding an early goal in the first 15 minutes. After Nottingham Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi was able to draw first blood, Fulham came back with a different mentality and scored 3 goals in 10 minutes as Tosin Adarabioyo, Joao Palhinha, Harrison Reed found themselves on the score sheet.

Nottingham Forest scored a consolation at the 77th minute with the help of Lewis O’Brien but were not able to translate it further as the game ended in 3-2 win for the away team.
Kevin De Bryune and co are set to play Wolves at Molineux Stadium in the week 8 fixtures of the Premier League, Manchester City in their last fixture had to settle with a draw against Aston Villa as unstoppable Halland continued to make his mark on the attacking end.
Antonio Conte’s Tottenham will be locking horns with the underdogs Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium. Leicester had lost their previous fixture against Brighton as Graham Potter’s side was able to rail past Leicester with a scoreline of 5-2. Whereas Tottenham pulled off a victory against Fullham at Tottenham’s home.
Odegaard and company will be facing Brentford in this week’s fixture after Arsenal facing a loss against Manchester United in their previous fixture. Newcastle and Bournemouth will go head to head at Newcastle’s home, St. James’ Park and Frank Lampard’s Everton will clash with West Ham in a much anticipated fixture of week 8
Matches of Brighton vs Crystal Palace, Manchester United vs Leeds, and the much anticipated clash between Chelsea and Liverpool have been postponed for week 8. The fixture is yet to be decided
