Medical shop owner robbed at gunpoint in Punjab, video goes viral | Watch
A video has emerged on the internet from Punjab’s Faridkot where a medical shop owner was robbed at gunpoint for forty thousand rupees by a gang. The incident was captured by the CCTV camera installed at the medical shop.
The robbery was done by a gang of people according to reports which deems it to be a premeditated robbery and it was done on 15 January.
In the video, the medical shop owner can be seen sitting as one man with his face covered charges at the man and puts a gun to his chest. The medical shop owner can be seen trying to fend the robbers off, however, after the robber pulled out a gun, the medical shop owner submitted.
The video also shows that as one robber holds the medical shop owner at gunpoint, the thief’s assailants can be seen rummaging through the money drawer and stealing the money from the shop.

BJP’s state president Ashwani Sharma had slammed the ruling AAP in Punjab over the law and order situation and also had said that the government is complacent while the situation deteriorated. The BJP state chief also added that the cases of extortion, murder and loot are becoming more frequent in the state of Punjab.

After the video went viral, many users came forward to add their take on the incident as one user wrote and said that no thief wants to do such kind of work, however, blamed unemployment to be at the crux of such incidents, implying that unemployed people need to survive themselves as well, hence they commit such crimes.
Another user added and wrote that it would have been great if all the transactions were online, hence the robbers wouldn’t have found any cash money for them to steal. One user also wrote and criticized the law and order situation in Punjab.
