Rahul Gandhi marriage: Karnataka BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel criticised by Congress leaders for crass comment
Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief and Lok Sabha MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has once again made a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi stating that the Congress leader is not getting married as he cannot produce children.
When speaking to a crowd at Ramanagara as part of the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra, Kateel took potshots at the Congress leaders for their early opposition to the Covid-19 vaccines. Kateel also criticized Siddaramaiah, the former chief minister of Karnataka, for his initial reluctance to take the Covid shot and for urging others not to.
Additionally, he also alleged that these leaders even convinced people not to take the Covid vaccine as they wouldn’t be able to have children. He said Siddaramanna and Rahul Gandhi had said don’t take the (Covid-19) vaccine as you cannot have children. But they took the vaccine. This is why the Wayanad MP is not interested in getting married because he knows he can’t have kids, he added.

Karnataka Congress condemned Kateel’s remarks and demanded strict action against the BJP Karnataka chief.
Hitting out at Kateel, the Congress said that the BJP leader has serious mental issues. Priyank Kharge, Congress MLA said Going by the statements made by Nalin Kateel, it looks like he really has serious mental issues and his disease of low intellect is spreading to his entire party. Get well soon BJP.
Congress leader Rashid Alvi said it is shameful. He should apologize. I don’t know what kind of political leaders [these] are. I strongly condemn his remarks, he added.
Last month, Kateel stoked a controversy by asking his party workers to focus on issues like love jihad and not on small issues like roads or sewage.
