Redmi's K50i 5G launch date leaked ahead of official launch, here's everything you need to know about smartphone
The leading Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is all set to bring back the feature-loaded Redmi K-series of smartphones in India. Earlier, it has been reported that the firm is not sure about launching its advance K50i smartphone in the country. Now the company itself confirmed the news through its official Twitter handle saying the K is back.
Reports said the company might launch the phone between July end or starting of August, this year. Interested customers will be able to purchase the phone through the e-commerce shopping platform Amazon, Flipkart, or from the company’s official website.

Know everything about Redmi’s K50i smartphone
Ahead of the official launch, some of the key features and specs of the handset already have been leaked online. If remoured to be believed, Redmi K50 is likely to come with a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 650 nits of brightness that will allow users to experience a high-quality display. Reports also suggested that the smartphone wil be powered by the latest yet advance octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, under which it will make the handset smooth for the users while operating heavy applications.
Redmi K50i is expected quipped with ta triple rear camera setup at the back. Customers can expect 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. For the selfies, the company is likely to provide a 16MP selfie shooter.
Under the hood, Redmi K50i will run the Android 12 operating system, which will be packed with 128GB internal storage space. The report suggested that the smartphone will come with microSD card support.
The upcoming Redmi K-series smartphone is likely to have a 5,080 mAh battery, which will also support the 67W fast charging support.
