Republic Day 2023: How to book tickets to watch parade on January 26 at Kartavya Path? Check step-by-step guide here
Every year on January 26, India celebrates Republic Day. What remains the highlight of the day is the grand RD Parade at Kartavaya Path, earlier called Rajpath, in New Delhi.
The Centre recently launched an online Invitation Management Portal to send e-invitations to guests and now the general public can also buy tickets online to enjoy the Republic Day events at Kartavya Path.
The e-governance initiative was launched by Raksha Rajya Mantri Ajay Bhatt, www.aamantran.mod.gov.in. The general public can plan to attend both the Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations and purchase the tickets online irrespective of geographical location.
Step-by-step guide to book online tickets for Republic Day Parade 2023
It should be noted that a person can only book 10 tickets using a mobile number. The Centre has also set up booths at various locations to buy tickets offline. The timings are 10 am to 12:30 pm and in the afternoon, it is from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.

For online booking of tickets, follow the steps given below.
- Step 1: Go to the website www.aamantran.mod.gov.in
- Step 2: Register on the portal with your mobile number.
- Step 3: Enter the Captcha code.
- Step 4: Fill in the important details of the attendees of the event.
- Step 5: Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
- Step 6: Choose the ticket of your choice.
- Step 7: Make the online payment after filling in the details.
- Step 8: Tickers will be sent digitally through emails and SMS.
