Rishi Sunak's wife Akshata Murthy holidays with Sudha Murthy, father Narayan Murthy and daughters in Goa: Watch
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s wife Akshata Murthy along with her two daughters and mother Sudha Murthy were seen holidaying at Benaulim beach in South Goa. A fisherman named Francis Fernandes said that he immediately recognized the British First Lady, Akshata Murthy when she asked him about water sports at this popular tourist destination.
Fernandes is known locally as Pele. And in a video shot by the locals, a fisherman named Francis Fernandes can be seen talking to Akshata. Later, the fisherman also posted his picture with Akshata and Sudha Murthy on social media. Akshata’s father Narayana Murthy, the co-founder of Infosys was also in Goa for this family holiday.
Pele said that the British First Lady asked him that is water sports safe in Goa? ‘I told her ma’am, it is 100 per cent safe’ and if you want to enjoy it, I will keep you and your family safe,’ he further revealed.

Sharing more details of his conversation with Akshata, the fisherman said that before boarding his boat, Pele told them that there are many Goans living in UK and he hopes that they too stay safe. Akshata said in response – Absolutely and nodded her head.
Pele described meeting Akshata and Sudha Murthy, author and chairperson of the non-profit Infosys Foundation, as a great experience.
The fisherman said, “I think every politician in India should learn from him. They are very down to earth.
For the unversed, Sunak and Akshata were married in 2009 and have two daughters named, Anushka and Krishna. Moreover, Pele was also in news when he hosted cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on the Benaulim beach.
