India’s most noted comedian, Raju Srivastava died at the age of 58 on Wednesday. After staying on life support for more than a month, the King of Comedy took his last breath at AIIMS Delhi hospital. But while his fans were mourning at his death, Comicstaan’s Rohan Joshi can up with an insensitive comment.

Stand-up comedian commented on Atul Khatri’s post saying that the world hasn’t lost a thing. He added that Srivastava seized every opportunity he got to demean up-and-coming comedians and shamed their comedy as offensive.

The AIB comedian further added that Raju Srivastava might have told some good jokes but he doesn’t understand the spirit of comedy or about defending one’s right to say something even if the other one doesn’t agree. The comedian ended his long tirade of a comment by saying good riddance.

However, this did not go well with the tweeple. Neither they appreciated his timing to remember such facts on the day of his death, nor tweeple agreed to Rohan Joshi completely. Several Twitter users called out comedian Rohan Joshi’s comment and said that he might have gotten his minutes of fame by abusing a deceased but he doesn’t deserve the spotlight at all.

And seems like this may have put some sense into Joshi’s head as he deleted his insensitive comment and even apologized by writing that after a minute of anger he realized that day was not about his personal feelings. He further said sorry to anyone who was hurt by his comment.
