Rohan Joshi’s good riddance comment on Raju Srivastava’s death enrages fans, calls out Joshi for his cheap repartees
Stand-up comedian and public figure, Rohan Joshi’s comments on Raju Srivastava’s death have enraged the people on social media. Rohan had commented on the fellow veteran comedian, Atul Khatri’s post, which was mourning the death of Raju Srivastava, by writing that the world hasn’t lost a thing. He added that Srivastava seized every opportunity he got to demean up-and-coming comedians and shamed their comedy as offensive wherever he went.
The AIB comedian, Rohan Joshi also added that Raju Srivastava might have told some good jokes but he doesn’t understand the spirit of comedy or about defending one’s right to say something even if the other one doesn’t agree. The comedian ended his long tirade of a comment by saying good riddance.
Rohan Joshi’s comment on comedian Raju Srivastava’s demise has come off as uncouth and sparked the internet to launch Joshi on Twitter. Many Twitter users came together to call out comedian Rohan Joshi’s comment as one Twitter user wrote that Rohan might have gotten his minutes of fame by abusing a deceased but he doesn’t deserve the spotlight at all. The user also added that they will wait for karma.
Another user added to the conversation by saying if this is real, implying the user couldn’t believe his eyes and added that this is pathetic, implying the comment is distasteful and uncouth for someone who just died.
Rohan Joshi, continue to receive a lot of flak even after he deleted his comment from the Atul Khatri’s post.
The celebrated and noted comedian Raju Srivastava after struggling to get better since his cardiac arrest in August faced post-heart attack complications, which led to his demise on Wednesday. The news of Raju Srivastava’s demise took the public aback as he was, for many, the pioneer and first impression of what Stand Up Comedy was.
Raju Srivastava previously suffered from a cardiac arrest back on August 10th while he was working out on a treadmill. After Srivastava complained about chest pains he was rushed to the Delhi’s AIIMS hospital to get looked at. However, initially, it looked like it was tough for him to get better and even the comedian’s family echoed how critical he was, but despite that, he was able to pull through to some extent.

Despite, the comedian and doctors best efforts, Raju was pronounced dead after facing some post hear attack complications.
However, Raju Srivastava bid goodbye to the world as he leaves behind his legacy. Raju Srivastava’s demise sent the whole country into mourning as, even the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, joined hands in sharing his grief with the country on the comedians demise.
