Viral: Massive landslide hits Uttarakhand, authority asked travellers to reach safe places ASAP | WATCH
A massive landslide has been reported from Uttrakhand’s Rudraprayag which caused long queues of vehicles at National Highway (NH)- 109 near Tarsali village. However, the reports say that no casualties or major loss of vehicles have been reported so far.
District magistrate Mayur Dixit also asked all the passengers to not rush and stop their moment until the way gets clear. He also revealed that the concerned authority taking charge f the situation and putting efforts to clear the route so that the moment will get resume as soon as possible.

In the video, it can be seen that a large amount of debris falling from the hills, causes a total blockage of the road. People were also seen leaving their vehicles in order to save their lives.
All the pilgrims going to Kedarnath were asked to hold their moment at Rudraprayag, Tilwara, Agastyamuni and Guptkashi. The pilgrims who were coming back from the Sonprayag also have been asked to stop their travel and move to some nearby safe places at Sonprayag, Sitapur,
Meanwhile, every year the state witness a such incident that causes heavy loss of lives and properties. This year also the state has been witnessing non-stop heavy rain with thunderstorms for the last few days. The weather department also predicted that the weather will remain unchanged in the upcoming days.
After continuously seeing such landslides due to rain and sudden change in weather, the state disaster agency also suggested people travel safely and avoid traveling on such roads at night.
