Malayalam singer Sangeetha Sajith passes away at 46
Popular Malayalam singer Sangeetha Sajith passed away on Sunday. She was 46.
As per reports, Sajith was suffering from kidney ailments for the past few months. She passed away on Sunday Monday at her residence. The noted playback singer predominantly lent her voice in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movies. She has sung over 200 songs in the South Indian languages.
Reports also said that Sangeetha visited her sister’s house at Thirumala on April 26 and fell sick. She was admitted to KIMS and passed away after her health deteriorated.
The deceased singer started her career as a singer in the Tamil film Naalaiya Theerpu. She went on to give her voice to the Malayalam song Ambili Poovattam from the film Ennu Swantham Janakikutty, Dhum Dhum Dooreyetho from Rakkilipattu, Odathandil Thalam Kittum from Pazhassiraja, Aalare Govinda from Kakkayuil, and others.
