Sanju Samson gets offer to play for Ireland, Indian batter refuses
The animosity around Indian wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson not getting a chance in the Indian team is increasing continuously. According to media reports, the Ireland Cricket Board has told Sanju Samson that if he plays for Ireland, he will get a chance to play every match for the country. However, Samson has put his country ahead of his career and said that he does not want to play for any other country at the international level. He just wants to be a part of the Indian cricket team.

Earlier, despite not being selected in the World Cup squad, Sanju was asked about Rishabh Pant being selected over him and the 28-year-old said that Pant is his friend and he respects the decision of the selectors.
Sanju Samson has scored 296 runs in 16 T20 matches for India at an average of 21.14 with a strike rate of 135.15. At the same time, in 11 ODIs, he has scored 330 runs at an average of 66. Sanju can perform even better if given a consistent chance and can play many match-winning innings for India.
