Gajanan Sankashti Chaturthi fast is observed on the day of Krishna Chaturthi in Sawan. This fast is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva. It is believed that by observing this fast, all the troubles of the person are removed and he gets the blessings of happiness and prosperity.
Sankashti Chaturthi fast is observed on the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Sawan month. This time this date will start at 1:27 pm on Saturday, July 16, and will remain till 10:49 am on Sunday, July 17. Gajanan Sankashti Chaturthi fast will be observed on July 16.
