Political leaders adopt all the tricks to woo the voters in the elections, but in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, one man crossed the limits. In Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, former chairman Haji Islam has been accused of distributing truckload of chickens among the voters.

When the video went viral, the former chairman Haji Islam was heard saying that he does not have much to offer and that it was the almighty’s order that he followed.

The video was shot in Shamli’s Kandhla Tehsil, where the former municipality chairman Haji Islam was seen distributing chicken in a truck to lure voters in the civic elections. It can be clearly seen in the viral video that people are in a rush to claim their free chickens.
When the video went viral, former chairman Haji Islam said that it was the public who elected a poor person like me as a municipality chairman. So I thought to do something to repay them, however, it is impossible to repay them.
Haji Islam has been the chairman from 2012 to 2017 and is also a contender for the civic polls this time again. On Monday, Haji Islam sent a truckload of chicken, seeing which people started queuing up. Chickens were distributed for about an hour. The people in the queue who did not get the chicken were assured that they would be given one next time.
In a similar incident, that took place around a month ago, TRS leader Rajnala Srihari had distributed liquor bottles and chickens among the people in Telangana. Telangana Chief Minister KC Rao was going to launch his national party, before this launch TRS leader Rajnala Srihari bought 200 chickens and 200 bottles of liquor and distributed them among the voters. The video of this incident also drew a lot of attention from social media users.
