Veteran actor, Chandrachur Singh, had turned up for his upcoming project’s trailer launch in which the actor will be starring alongside actor Akshay Kumar. The video of the actor Chandrachur Singh turning up at the event has gone viral as many have drawn the looks of Chandrachur to look like Congress leader, Shashi Tharoor.

In the Instagram video, Chandrachur could be seen posing as he walked into the venue of the trailer launch. The video confused many viewers as many got him confused for Congress politician, Shashi Tharoor.

The video had a lot of funny comments regarding how the Aarya star looked a lot like Shashi Tharoor as one user wrote that for a second he thought that it was Shashi Tharoor, while another user suggested that Chandrachur should definitely work in Shashi Tharoor’s biopic.

Other social media users also recognised the veteran actor and reminisced about the time they had seen him in the leading role. One user wrote that he remembers the actors from back in the day and observed how he has totally changed. Another user wrote and lamented about his break from Bollywood, while also showing excitement for his comeback.

The Veteran Actor had announced his debut in OTT as well as made a comeback to the industry with the Hotstar Series, Aarya. The show received a lot of praise from the audience as well as received an international Emmy Nomination in Drama. The show streams on Hotstar and stars Sushmita Sen and was co-created by Ram Madhvani and Sandeep Modi. The movie has directed the series, with Vinod Rawat.

Chandrachur Singh will be starring alongside Akshay Kumar, Rakul Preet Singh, Sargun Mehta, and Chandrachur Singh amongst others in the upcoming movie, Cuttputtli. The movie is slated to premiere on Hotstar on 2nd September. The movie is based on real events and is directed by Ranjit M Tewari.
