Man shares near-death experience while skiing, shares scary video | WATCH
There are people who find skiing a very adventurous sport, but sometimes it becomes dangerous real quick and a recent viral video is proof of it. A scary yet exciting clip that is doing rounds on the social media platform, where a man was seen skiing and encountered a massive avalanche at the top of a mountain covered with ice went viral on the internet.
An athlete Owen Leeper shared the blood-curdling drone video on his Instagram handle, sharing his near-death experience while doing the sport. He also caption his post where he explained the whole scene. He wrote that every day in the mountains is risky, there isn’t one day of the season where the avalanche danger is ‘none’. Every backcountry skier understands the risks. The important thing is to minimize risks where possible, but you can’t remove all risks while pursuing extreme skiing. I feel very lucky I made it out with minor injuries. I will definitely think about this crash every time I’m out, athlete added in his caption.

Leeper also revealed that once he hit the first rock he knew he had to keep his feet under him, for the rock in the middle was about to hit, and his skis launched him into the wall. He was able to get his hands up and catch himself before hitting his face. The athlete further explained that he tried hard to keep his feet below him, knowing he had another rock band to clear. Miraculously he bounced over the last section of rocks into the snow and that is how he made it.
When he dropped the scary video on the internet, it amaze thousands of people, garnered massive viewership in a very less period of time. While some users called him lucky, some asked him to thank god for saving his life.
