Social media users criticize Amravati MP Navneet Rana for throwing Ganesh idol into dirty lake
The social media users today criticized Amravti MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana for throwing a Ganesh idol directly into a dirty lake. They were participating in the immersion of Ganesh’s idol.
A video of this incident went viral on social media on Sunday. They took Bappa (Ganesh idol) on their head to the immersion pond and then threw the idol into the water. Reports said that the water was very dirty and muddy.
Sharing the viral video journalist Raksha wrote that people should look at the method of immersing Ganpati ji. They were the contractors of real Hinduism.
Another Twitter user Meenakshi wrote people should watch how MPs Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana, who read lessons to the nation on Hanuman Bhakti, were doing Ganesh Visarjan!
Shivaasmi Aham wrote that there was a big difference between Immersion and throwing. They were the fake Hindus. Neither a Hindu nor a Muslim could describe the real method of immersion.
The Samajwadi Party (SP) also criticised Navneet Rana. The party wrote on Twitter that the Rana couple, who made a hue and cry over the Hanuman Chalisa row can now be seen disrespecting Ganesha.
The party said that BJP-backed MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana, who sat on a dharna in front of the CM’s residence in Maharashtra in the name of reading Hanuman Chalisa and had created a hue and cry over the issue, now disrespectfully doing Ganesh immersion. People should take a look.
Shiv Sena leaders Manisha Kayande and Priyanka Chaturvedi also took a dig at the MP. Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted that after the drama of Param Hanuman devotee, now showing Ganpati devotion. This was truly offensive.
Navneet Rana and her Husband Ravi Rana were booked in a sedition case for reciting Hanuman Chalisa in front of former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s house.
