Spider Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland wishes to face THIS team against his favourite Tottenham Hotspur in Champions League final
British actor Tom Holland next will be seen in Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021. The makers dropped a 3-minute trailer of the film on Wednesday, in which Peter Parker aka Spiderman is fighting the villains from the multiverse he created by mistake.
During the promotion of one of the most anticipated superhero films, Tom Holland in his interview with GQ magazine revealed his dream Champions League final of 2022. The Spider-Man actor wished a Champions League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford. When asked about the reason, Tom said that Tottenham is his favourite football team and Brentford is his uncle’s. He also said that it will be quite difficult to beat Brentford, as they are playing some wonderful football.
After hearing this, Spurs fans would’ve been on the moon and would be delighted to welcome Spider-Man to their fandom. However, the Premier League club is yet to win any trophy in the past 20 years. Recently, Italian coach Antonio Conte took over the club as the new manager after their defeat against Manchester United in the previous match.
The 25-year old Holland is the youngest to play Spider-Man in Marvel’s superhero franchise. He has also been part of Avengers: Infinity War and Captain America: Civil War along with playing the lead role in two Spider man movies.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts. The film will release in theatres on December 17 2021. In the film, Marisa Tomei portrays the role of the famous Aunt May. The film also stars Zendaya and Benedict Cumberbatch in the leading role.
