Sunil Grover aka Guthi undergoes heart surgery in Mumbai
Sunil Grover has reportedly undergone heart surgery. He was admitted to the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, where he got treated. According to reports, the surgery was successful, and the actor-comedian is recuperating. His doctors said that Grover is safe from the surgery and is improving well. The actor was diagnosed with blockages in his heart.
An official announcement is yet to be made by Sunil Grover, or his family members. As more details are still awaited, fans have been constantly praying for the actor’s recovery, and sending him best wishes.
In his latest appearance, Sunil Grover starred with Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, and Mukul Chadda in the Zee5 web series Snow Flower.
The Bharat actor was recently shooting a web series in Shimla. He also shared views from the snowy mountains of Himachal Pradesh. He also shot for another web series in Pune. Sources revealed that despite his health condition, he finished the shoot like an absolute professional. He left for his treatment after finishing the shoot. Sunil Grover has blockages in his heart. However, he still shot the required scenes and fulfilled his commitment.
Sunil Grover is famous for his roles as Guthi in Comedy Nights with Kapil and Dr Mashoor Gulati in The Kapil Sharma Show. He left Kapil Sharma’s show to start his own, but it failed to gather an audience and was taken off-air soon. The heat between the two comedians became a matter of controversy. However, the two worked out the matter. Sunil Grover joined Kapil Sharma and his team again. He then moved to films and appeared in films like Bharat, Pataakha, Baaghi, Gabbar is Back.
Grover started his career with SAB TV’s Gutur Gu, which was India’s first silent comedy show. He is famous for his mimics of famous Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, among others.
