Amid the rise in fuel prices in India, there are many car manufacturers who are focusing to launch electric vehicles or update their existing ones. In the middle of these, Tata Motors on Friday unveiled one of its much-awaited and feature-loaded SUV electric car concepts named Avinya. The company claimed that its upcoming EV will be a game-changer in the segment as it will offer 500 km of range in a single charge.
The company has officially revealed that the EV will hit the market somewhere around 2024 or 2025. The firm said Avinya will be next generation of electric vehicles by Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM).

Talking about the front profile of Avinya, it will likely to come with much more aggressive as compared to its existing EV cars. The vehicle will have extended LED DRLs from the front, customers can expect the full LED projector headlamps as well in taillamps. As far as the battery is and power is concerned, the company revealed that advanced batteries will be used in the upcoming electric cars which will support an ultra-fast charge capability, in line with the infrastructure evolution, which will offer a minimum 500 kms range in under 30 minutes.
Tata Sons and Tata Motors’ chairman N Chandrasekaran said that the company has worked so hard to make the AVINYA concept a reality, the main motive through this car is to offer a mobility solution like no other to the customers. we are uniquely positioned to bring all the expertise that is necessary to build these mobility solutions and we are confident that in years to come we will make a larger and sustainable impact not only in India but globally as well, Chandrasekaran said.
