Bigg Boss 16: Tina Datta's team release open letter stating the actor's character is being assassinated on national television
With multiple twists and turns, dynamics inside the Bigg Boss 16 are changing. Ever since the show started, Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot have remained in the spotlight and still continue to hit headlines.
However, the sweet-sour relationship between the duo has turned their bond upside down and fans, housemates, and the host Salman Khan called it fake.
Following the bashing by Khan on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Datta’s team released an open letter and stated that the actor’s character is being assassinated on national television over and over again.
The letter said women have been making derogatory remarks about another woman and assassinating her character behind her (Tina’s) back. Highlighting gender equality, the letter argued why a successful woman has to pay price for her success and that too on national television.
The letter further read the team hoped this isn’t a reflection of society and clarified Tina worked hard since the age of 4.5 years and made a mark for herself in the industry by shooting nonstop for daily soaps, international tours, and performances.

Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot were recently schooled by Salman Khan over their confusing-fake relationship inside the BB 16 house.
Earlier, Datta, Bhanot, and Sumbul Touqeer landed in controversy after Touqeer’s father bashed Datta and asked his daughter to maintain distance from both of them. Following the accusations made by Touqeer’s father, Datta’s mother also released a video and slammed him for assassinating Datta’s character on national television.
Several videos went viral from the Bigg Boss 16’s live feed where Datta and Bhanot could be seen getting comfy and making sure the cameras were on them. The duo has been in the limelight, however, fans and former Bigg Boss contestants including Kamya Panjabi slammed them for doing so.
