PhonePe users made 1292.71 million (129.27 crore) UPI transactions from the app in June. Whereas in May, users did 1149.84 million (114.98 crore) transactions. That is, the number of UPI transactions increased by 142.87 million (14.28 crore) on a monthly basis. PhonePe has 320.45 million (32.04 crore) more UPI transactions than second-ranked Google Pay.

Ola will soon commence the production of electric scooters at its factory in Tamil Nadu, Ola Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said on Wednesday. ‘Almost there! Scooter production to begin soon! Get on the waitlist and #JoinTheRevolution,’ Aggarwal tweeted. Upon completion, the factory will create nearly 10,000 jobs and is expected to be the world’s largest scooter manufacturing facility that will initially have an annual production capacity of 2 million units.

Auto companies can soon be asked to manufacture such passenger and commercial vehicles. Which run on multiple fuel configurations aimed at reducing the use of polluting fossil fuels and reducing harmful emissions. The new guidelines for the use of Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) using flex engines are expected to be issued by the third quarter of this year (FY22). Which will specify the required engine configurations and other changes in the vehicles in line with the prescribed changes in the fuel mix.
