Drunk truck driver drags car for kilometers in Meerut, 4 car passengers narrowly escapes | Watch
A bizarre video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut where a video of a truck dragging a car for about 3 kilometers surfaced on the internet. According to reports, the truck driver was in an inebriated state when the incident transpired.
It was also reported that the 4 passengers who were inside the car escaped by timely jumping out and narrowly saving themselves before the accident took a heinous turn. The video of the incident was recorded by a bystander who saw the truck dragging the car along with it in Meerut.

In the video, a truck can be seen dragging a car on a busy road, as traffic can also be seen running behind him. The car being dragged can be making a screeching sound as it gets dragged along the truck. The visuals of the accident also shows the car being vacant and no passengers were seen in the car.
The incident ensued after the truck driver and the car occupants had a spat with each other following which, the truck driver out of anger dragged the car on before being stopped by the police authorities.
It was reported that the locals who saw the truck dragging the car shouted at the truck driver in order for him to stop, however, the truck driver continued on until the police authorities took swift actions and intercepted the truck and stopped him. It was also reported that the police have taken the drunk truck driver into custody.

After the video went viral of the bizarre incident, many users came forward to add their take on the incident as one user wrote and said that the administration should take stern actions against the truck driver in the matter and reprimand him.
One user also wrote and said that fortunately no lives were lost due to the accident, implying that the accident could have taken a sinister turn, however, there were no reports of the 4 car passengers dying due to it.
