Jammu and Kashmir: Two blasts in bus in 8 hours in Udhampur, two injured
A horrific incident took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Wednesday when a blast occurred in two parked buses in eight hours. First, the explosion took place at around 10:30 pm on Wednesday in a bus parked at Domail Chowk.
The police and security personnel rushed to the spot immediately when they received information about the incident. Other vehicles parked nearby were also damaged in the mishap. Two people were injured in the blast. Soon, the injured were rushed to the Udhampur District Hospital.
Suleman Choudhary, DIG, Udhampur-Reasi Range, said the reason for the blast is yet to be ascertained. The police are investigating the matter.

The CCTV footage shows the high intensity of the blast. Visuals of the blast show the roof of the bus damaged, while the window panes of several nearby vehicles were also broken.
After eight hours, another incident occurred at 6 am on Thursday. However, neither any damage was reported nor was there any report of any injury or casualty.
Jammu Additional Director General of Police said the reason for the explosion is yet to be known, but after this incident, security has been ramped up in the area. The security agencies were also put on alert, he said.
Speaking about the cause and reason for the explosion in the area, he said, at present, it would not be appropriate to say anything about this blast. He added that the order to probe into this matter is underway.
