Union Minister Kaushal Kishore alleges former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru used to take drugs, smoke cigarettes
Union Minister Kaushal Kishore has come to the fore after his statements on Late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi’s son surfaced on the internet recently. The Union Minister while talking to the media at a de-addiction awareness program in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur, stated that Jawaharlal Nehru used to take drugs, and smoke cigarettes.
Kishore in his statement didn’t only raise huge allegations against the late prime minister but also did the same for the son of Mahatma Gandhi as he stated that the son of Mahatma Gandhi also used to take drugs. Kishore substantiated his claims by saying that if one was to read up on it, one would learn the same thing.

The statement by the Union Minister can spark a major controversy, the allegations by Kishore seem to be very grave, specially allegations against the people who helped shape India.
Kishore while speaking about the issues of drug use and addiction, also proclaimed that the country is under a drug menace. The Union Minister also urged the media to make the people aware of the issues that one can face after drug use.
The Union Minister also added that this will help in creating fear among them about the shortcomings of drug use and will refrain from the use of drugs which results in the sale of drugs will be affected and stopped. Kishore also drew parallels by saying that the sale of poison stopped like this.
Kaushal Kishore’s advocacy against drug abuse
Union Minister Kaushal Kishore has been very vocal on the issue of drug abuse as on his social media, he has often posted about issues that advocate against drug use. Kishore’s only recently Tweeted that no one should lose their loved ones due to drug use and no family member should die due to drugs.
Kishore, in his Tweet, further added that he aims to create a drug-free India by making the whole country aware through his campaign Nasha Mukt Samaj Andolan Abhiyan Kaushal Ka. He further urged if anyone is with him, they should also join hands to speak and make everyone aware of the issue.
