UP man stabs wife to death after being enraged over five-year-old daughter's disobedience

In a bizarre incident, a woman was reportedly stabbed to death by her husband following a minor family dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. According to the police, the man attacked his wife several times with a knife in a fit of rage.

The incident is reported from Masuri town on October 12. As per the reports, the man, identified as Shadab, asked her five-year-old daughter Saba to bring a bedsheet. However, his daughter was engaged in playing and didn’t pay much attention to what Shadab was saying.

Irked over his daughter’s disobedience, he started thrashing his 32-year-old wife, Shababna. The police said when the woman resisted, he stabbed her multiple times with a knife. She was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, but she succumbed to injuries during treatment.

The victim’s father, Ali Hasan, has lodged an FIR against Shadab. The police have detained the accused and further investigations related to the incident are underway.

In a similar incident, a man stabbed his wife multiple times in UP’s Hardoi on the day of Karwa Chauth. The reports state that Moni Gupta was observing a fast for her husband Manoj when he attacked her over a dozen times. As per the reports, their children weren’t at home.

The neighbours rushed to the scene after hearing the victim’s cries and informed the police immediately about the incident. The doctors claim the victim is critically injured.

In other news, a man hacked his wife to death while she was sleeping in their house at Kothakurssi near Ottapalam.

Rajani was allegedly attacked and murdered at around 2 a.m. as she was sleeping in her room with a machete. Rajani had suffered significant injuries to her neck and cheek.
