A viral video from UP’s Kanpur went viral where a patient who didn’t get the aid of an ambulance was transported on a rickshaw with a makeshift ambulance setup. In the video, an aged woman can be seen sitting in a rickshaw where her hand is attached to a drip tube. The drip bottle is tied and attached to the upper part of the rickshaw which allows the medicine to drip down into the tube and into the patient.

The video is reported to be from Kanpur’s Dehat district and many believe this instance is a tangible representation of the UP’s health sector’s state of affairs. The video has been making rounds on the internet as people were left enraged at the heartbreaking sight.

One Twitter user came forward remarking on the issue and said that on one hand the officers (higher officials) and their families lead a life of total enjoyment and luxury whereas, on the other hand, this is the condition of the public, suggesting the disparity of struggles the general public of India have bequeathed. The user also added that the country needs a revolution in order for the country to see any change or reform.

Another user added to the conversation by saying that it is a complete jungle raj in UP as the double engine fail to remedy rapes and murders every day and there are such instances in the everyday affair.

The Twitter user also added that the media, nowadays, only know how to direct the naive public astray. While also adding that no reportage of the news is also a kind of fake news.

Another Video from UP’s Balia district went viral last week where doctors, owing to the power cut at the hospital, were forced to treat patients with the help of torchlights from their mobiles. The electricity cut reportedly came due to the heavy rainfall that was witnessed during the time. UP government had ordered probe after the video went viral.
