Uttar Pradesh: Shop owner threatens to slit his throat to stop demolition of shop, video viral | Watch
A heartbreaking video has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur where a shop owner climbed up his shop in a bid to stop the demolition of his shop. According to reports the man’s shop was built on an encroached land which is located in the Gola district of Lakhimpur.
In the video, the man can be seen sitting on top of his shop as he wails and shrieks in agony from the fear of losing his shop. The man can be seen taking a knife to his throat and threatening to slit it, however, the man stops and further complains about how poor people who are trying to make an honest living are always subjected to such kind of atrocities.
The crowd surrounding the shop can also be heard stopping the man from slitting his throat as they can be heard screaming no to the man when he puts the knife to his throat. The crowd can also be seen in an agitated state as one of the people from the crowd can be heard saying that poor people are being troubled by the authorities.

Another incident
Another incident came to light from Uttar Pradesh where a policeman can be seen kicking and stomping on a farmer in Farrukhabad in a viral video. According to the police’s account, the police had come to stop the farmers who were allegedly bringing a herd of cows onto the roads which disrupted the traffic.
It was reported that the police tried to talk to the farmers and reached a consensus in the matter and authorities had also transported the herd of cattles to nearby cow shelters.
In the video, the police constable can be seen cracking down on the farmers as one police official can be seen stomping and kicking on a farmer who was already down after facing police brutality.
