Earlier, Uttarakhand’s first Vande Bharat Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and will begin operations from May 29, Monday. With the completion of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, the journey between Delhi and Dehradun will become easier, he said.
He further added that Devbhoomi Uttarakhand will become the centre of attraction for the spiritual consciousness of the world in the coming days and it had to be shaped as per future demands.
The reactions to the video have been diverse. One person said that there was too much drama going on as the common man is being pushed around like cattle in trains. Another said the train was good but the celebrations were looking odd in the carriage. Another commented that the dance performance was looking odd.
Another user commented the celebrations were a never-ending drama, while another joked this was the new job creation idea of the government, that is, to dance in railway coaches.
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw tweeted that this was a grand celebration of the Indian Railways. Indian Railways is the largest network of railways in the world and the Vande Bharat Express is the latest addition to it, he said.
