Madhya Pradesh: Car hits bike-borne youth in Jabalpur, tossed away 20 feet away
A shocking incident of road accident has come to light from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur city. A youth was critically injured after a car hit him while he was heading home on his bike after seeing the Durga Puja procession. He has been admitted to the local hospital in the city. His health situation was very critical. He has been put on a ventilator.
Reports said that the accident occurred in the Ranjhi area of the city at midnight on Thursday. The youth was returning home with two sisters after seeing the Durga Puja procession.
A video of this incident went viral on social media on Friday where a car can be seen hitting the bike-borne youth. In this accident, the youth jumped around 20 feet away and collided with an electric pole. The whole incident has been recorded on the CCTV camera. The APN News does not ratify the authenticity of this video.
According to local media reports, a 26-year-old youth was trampled by the car. He has been identified as Pintu Burman.
Sharing this incident on Twitter, a local newspaper wrote that the young man, who was sitting on a bike, jumped in the air in front of a house due to a collision with a running car.

Police said that an FIR was registered in this matter and the car owner has been identified as Kartik Kotwal. The car was captured by the police.
A police official said that the car driver and his companion survived because of the airbag. But both disappeared after the incident
He said that Pintu’s father has died. He was working at a catering.
This was not the first case of a rush driving in Jabalpur. In October 2019, several people died in a similar incident on the Chhapara-Jabalpur road in Seoni.
