He said any kind of intoxication was okay, if, after cutting all expenses, you pay the water tax. It was the need of hour to understand the utility of water, Mishra added.
But the MP did not stop here. He further said – Whether you drink alcohol, chew gutkha, eat Iodex and whether you smell thinner, but you will have to pay tax for water. All expenses should be cut and everyone should pay the water tax.
You have to understand the utility of water, the MP said
MP Mishra said that some parties say that they will waive water tax, but we have to pay water tax because the water level is going down fast. In such a situation, the utility of water has to be understood. All the rivers and streams are drying up. There is no water left on the earth. The water level is decreasing and we are wasting water, he added.
Every person has a right to get clean drinking water at home. For this, the government has made ‘Har Ghar Jal’ scheme. The citizens should cooperate with this scheme and water tax should be paid by forming water committees, only then the scheme will be a success.
