WhatsApp to stop working for some Apple iPhones models, here's all you need to know
Are you using WhatsApp on Apple’s iPhone outdated iOS versions 10 and 11? If yes, then there is bad news for you. The WhatsApp information provider WABetaInfo has revealed that the messaging platform will drop the support for the Apple iPhones which are running the outdated version of iOS 10 and iOS 11.
WABetaInfo also informed that with the latest change in the usage policy, WhatsApp will discontinue its service on iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c. The firm also confirmed that users need to have a minimum iOS 12 version to enjoy the latest updates and services of the platform.

While confirming the news, WABetaInfo shared some screenshots which were taken by some users, claiming that they are not able to update their updates on the phone which are running the updated version of iOS 10 and 11 and the application is suggesting users update to a newer iOS version if they want to use the latest version of WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, it is technically not possible to update to a newer iOS for iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c. However, if you own an iPhone 5s or later models, you can update to iOS 12 and enjoy the service of the application.
The platform also updated its operating system’s FAQ page on the Help Centre site and recommended users have updated WhatsApp will only run minimum on iPhone iOS 12 or a newer version.
Whatsapp often releases its latest version of the application to provide the best experience to the users. In the last update, the application has fixed all the bugs, which were faced by the users such as lagging, messaging deliver confirmation, and blue tick problem among others.
