Viral: On Karwa Chauth, woman catches her husband out shopping with girlfriend, what happened next is brutal | WATCH

A man was beaten up in the middle of the market by his wife after she caught him red-handed while shopping with his girlfriend on the occasion of Karwa Chauth in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad.

A video of the incident has gone viral on the internet. The wife takes off her slippers and beats her husband and his paramour with it amid the crowded market.

During this, a crowd of people gathers around them in the Turabnagar market, while some are seen enjoying the incident, others record the fight on their mobile phones.

The now viral video shows the woman, along with her relatives, spotting her husband with his girlfriend inside a shop. She shouts, this is him and catches the girl too, and the high voltage drama begins. The shopkeeper is heard saying ‘bahar, bahar’, asking the furious woman to take the matter outside the shop.

Then the woman drags her husband outside on the road and begins to slap him. People in large numbers stop by to witness the drama. A few moments later, the girlfriend is seen trying to save the man but gets beaten up as well. The angry woman and her relatives hurl several abuses at the alleged girlfriend and even pull her hair.

Later, the matter reached the Nagar Kotwali Police, the victim’s wife filed a complaint against the husband. The police challaned the accused husband under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and released the girl after issuing a warning.

The police reports say, Preeti was married in the year 2017 to Rahul. After marriage, there was a dispute between the two and for the last three years Preeti has been living at her maternal house. A petition related to the dispute between the two is pending in the court.

Preeti has alleged that the husband has relations with another woman and he does not take her with him to his house. He lives alone. On Thursday, on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, Rahul was seen shopping with his girlfriend in Turabnagar market.
