Xiaomi 13m series launch date, specs leaked ahead of the official launch, check details

One of the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi was all set to launch the 13 series along with the Xiaomi Watch S2 and Xiaomi Buds 4 on December 1, but due to some unknown reason, the company had canceled the plan a day before. Now, a tipster leaked the dates of the launch event on all the digital platforms.

According to the leaked information, it has revealed that Xiaomi will launch the upcoming 13 series in China on December 11 at 7 pm local time (4:30 pm IST). The leaks also suggested that the company is expected to unveil its awaited and feature-loaded smartwatch S2 and wireless Buds 4. There is also speculation that suggested that the firm also might introduce a small form factor (SFF) Xiaomi Host Mini PC could during the event.

The smartphone makers already revealed some of the speciations about the upcoming Xiaomi 13 series. According to the company, the latest flagship lineup will come as the vanilla Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Both smartphones will be equipped with the advanced Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which it will allow users to have a lag-free experience while using any heavy applications. The hands also will feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

Talking about the camera setup, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a 1-inch Leica-optimised Sony IMX989 main image sensor. Apart from that 13 series handsets will have a 75mm telephoto lens which will provide a good quality image even in low light. It has been reported that the upcoming smartphones will come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Both handsets will feature ceramic with a leather work option at the rear.
